Frequently Asked Questions

Your Questions. Professional Answers.

Is my pet too old to be trained?

Never! Dogs are never to elderly to learn some manners! They also are never too young! Training should be a fun game, and never a chore! No dog is ever too old!

What is your approach to pet training?

Every dogs personality and temperament is different just like their owners, there is no one way to train a dog. All of our teachings are done with positive reinforcement, and we will teach the dog using scientific based training as well as communicate with the owner to see what way works best for the owner as well.

Which of your services is right for me?

During the inital phone call we will go over what program would be appropriate for your situation and your canine companion.

What type of training do you do?

We use positive reinforcement to teach all of the behaviors. Once and ONLY once the behaviors are fluid are corrections to the handler appropriate. Generally the animal is doing exactly what the handler wants them to do in regards to watching body language and knowing what is asked out of them, although the handlers position, emotions, as well as how they hold themselves all has a large roll in training.

Per owner request, and safety, we are most certainly able to instill training tools in the programs as well, although only with permission  of the dog trainer and what is needed for both owner and animal to maintain safety around the house, in public, or even own neighborhood.
